I don't know if any of the editors and reviewer had problems with MozBackup, but I wish to share my thoughts on the subject:
- MozBackup is not a Mozilla software, nor Mozilla officially supports it. In my opinion is somehow strange that a solution like this can be mentioned in the official support site.
- This software simply creates a compressed copy of the profile folder, which is something that can be performed easily without any additional software.
- All the staff of the Italia Support Forum has deliberately stopped offering support on MozBackup because while many times it has been proved useful in what is supposed to do, SOMETIMES it has corrupted profiles beyond any attempt to recover them.
So we (Italians) are not eager to mention the solution in this article. I would like to know what do you think about it.
